Case study: Southwark News

Southwark News is an independently owned local newspaper covering news and events in Southwark in South London. It hits the streets once a week on Fridays with a mixture of news, comment, reviews, local information and advertising. They also produce a weekend magazine style publication, the Southwark Weekender.

For Southwark News the Atia web management system has been used to present a content rich site that mirrors where possible the look and feel of the Weekender magazine. The content managment system had to be robust enough to cope with a fast and frequent upload of content being put onto the site every week by journalists and advertisers.

Regenesys worked closely with Southwark News staff brainstorming the site look and feel, functionality and flow at an intensive workshop before prototyping ideas on a 'beta test' site specially set up for Southwark News.
